The goal of the Arrowsmith Program’s intensive and graduated cognitive exercises is to strengthen a range of weak cognitive capacities that are hypothesized to underlie a number of specific learning difficulties. The Arrowsmith Program is based on the philosophy that it is possible to address specific learning difficulties by identifying and strengthening weak cognitive capacities.
